Greetings from our team at SOLUM. This year has been an amazing transition to increased effectiveness and outreach and personal interaction. That’s right. With Covid limiting travel, we increased our serve. We adapted. Like no other time, these last two years pushed us to the vision as our guide. In 2002, SOLUM originated and organized under the first name, PrayerMetro, Changing the Heartline through Prayer. From 2002 to 2013, we sponsored citywide events on a quarterly basis with business leaders, parents, and ministers. The call to effective faith and fathering guided our steps. In 2013 we shifted to work face to face with the broken with that same emphasis on faith and fathering declaring LifeLong Dads. Kids Need ‘Em. In all of this Fixing Fractured Families marks our steps. With a clear understanding that the essential brokenness of our nation lies in our broken approach to fathered homes. Single parent, fatherless, apathetic and violent fathered homes fill our prisons, push into drugs for relief, accentuate bullying, live in the world of human trafficking, assault women and children, and lead away from the kingdom come community our Father wants.
In 2013 after challenging a non-metro, rural chamber breakfast in a 1 minute presentation, the County Attorney, whom I had never met, asked us to help with probation. That moment brought laser focus to our vision and mission that brings us to a monumental surge.

A recent Life Skills participant notes after a few weeks: “Well personally I have a short temper mainly when I drink alcohol. Since I'm not drinking it's been a eye opener. It's not me who acts up or makes a fool out of myself. It's nice to pass the torch to someone else. I find myself a lot calmer and and feel like I'm maturing and growing greatly. I've been using what I've learned so far on my husband and kids. Knowing that it's working let's me know I needed this class a long time ago. I was a single parent and boy it would of done me a whole lot good when raising my kids. They didn't turn out bad and proud of them. I know the difficulties life throws at you, so now I have more tools to approach any problems that will come my way.”

2024 Expansion BHAGS (Big Hairy Audacious Goals)
- Explode the JUMPSTART Life Skills, PARENTING PIZZAZZ, and Conquer Your Anger Take Back Control of Your Future into 4 states and 6 more counties in each.
- Develop local county teams/congregations of community in each area of expansion.
- Double our funding through individual givers – Build a community of concern.
- Develop and Enjoy Christianne’s existing education skill set and experience to come alongside in a high growth year.
- Position processes to support a doubling of outreach and follow up in 2023.
- Give away online courses to new counties for FREE. Simple $25 cost of registration and then FREE to those on probation in non-metro/rural counties. Meet the need.
Request for Assistance For 2024, we need your partnership. A quick look will tell you we intend to increase our outreach by 24 times. That’s right. 24 additional counties. But, we can do that for only twice the funds. Accomplishments 202x:
- Expanded into 30 new counties... A huge success.
- Developed video story database to help others see
- Developed core Conquer Your Anger Take Back Control of Your Future 12 week online program using evidence based practices with Biblical foundations that teach skills regarding depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and resulting anger. Piloted in two groups successfully.
- Enhanced core Think! Life Skills and Parenting in partnerships with Fred Jones Parenting (includes Spanish), and the National Institute of Fatherhood.
- Improved online platforms with gamification / rewards progressions and mentor components in partnership with Pathwright and Live Your Message for increased personalization and speed.
- Developed core curriculums for Small Group Discipleship and University level ministerial course in partnership with Dr. Frank Tunstall, retired bishop and university president, and Dynamic Church Planters International. 58 participants worldwide are in motion. Many have completed.
- Continued serving Cooke County Texas with 90 day workshops.
- Added Christianne Hudson, B.S. Education, experience as a virtual tutor as Assistant Director of Community Education.
- Established studio and office in Yukon for online classes and development.
- Adapted our serving model to a greater flexibility.
- Over 1200 came to Christ in Pakistan working with local team and speaking monthly via Skype. These are discipled and established in neighborhood house churches.
- Launched regular Resiliency email and linkedin newsletter and facebook private group for those continuing to grow after finishing workshops.
